After nearly a year of speculation, last night’s episode of Game of Thrones, titled “Home,” finally answered the question of Jon Snow’s true fate.
While Jon was truly dead, he got better. Melisandre, with some encouragement from Davos, performed a ritual on Jon that brought him back to the land of the living. Now that he’s allowed to speak publically again, actor Kit Harington reveals that not only is Jon back, but Season 6 will be the character’s biggest yet.
“It’s a massive season for Jon,” Harington tells EW. Despite beginning the season as a corpse, Harington actually spent more days on set this season than any other. “It’s his biggest season for him so far.”
Harington is also featured on the cover of the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, with headline that has no shame in spoiling Jon’s return. Check out the full cover below.
Game of Thrones airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
