It looks like Kong has officially exited Skull Island and taken a trip to San Diego. Kong: Skull Island just dropped its first trailer at the city’s super-sized comic convention earlier today.

Kong: Skull Island, which is directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, is a reboot of the original King Kong franchise and stands as the second installment of Legendary Pictures’ Godzilla-Kong films. As for the film’s cast, fans have been clamoring over all of Kong’s companions as stars like Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, John C. Reilly, Jason Mitchell, and Samuel L. Jackson are just some of its ensemble cast.
The film will focus on a group of diverse, talented explorers who’re all brought to Skull Island, unaware of all the dangers that it holds. Beautiful yet deadly, the island threatens the team’s expedition once they realized they’ve stumbled upon the monstrous home of the ape fan have come to know as Kong.
Kong: Skull Island is slated to hit theaters on March 10th 2017.
