LINE Webtoon today announced that it has signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA). CAA will exclusively represent LINE Webtoon’s comic titles for film and television opportunities in the U.S., including adaptations of its hit U.S. series, as well as English adaptations of its international titles.

LINE Webtoon offers readers an array of comic titles across genres, including action, romance, thriller, horror, slice-of-life, superhero, and more. LINE Webtoon announced more than 10 million daily unique readers, 35 million monthly unique readers, and several series being read six million times per episode or more.

Some of LINE Webtoon’s recent success stories include YA series Dents by 2 Broke Girls star Beth Behrs and Broadway actor Matt Doyle; fashion meets superheroes comic Heroine Chic from David Tischman and Audrey Mok’; fantasy romance Siren’s Lament byKaitlyn Narvaza; and the New Brooklyn super-hero universe created by Brooklyn-based writers and artists including Emmy Award-winner Dean Haspiel.

CAA will also represent LINE Webstoon’s international hits, including Noblesse, Tower of God, and Orange Marmalade for English adaptations.

“Our portfolio of comic series across every imaginable genre has garnered huge success in both the US and internationally and we know that fans are going to be incredibly excited to see their favorite titles brought to life on screen with the help of CAA,” said JunKoo Kim, Founder and Head of LINE Webtoon, in a statement.

The deal with CAA follows a new partnership between LINE Webtoon and Patreon, integrating features of the crowdsourcing platform into LINE Webtoon’s own creative tools.
