Variety is reporting that Sony and Marvel are on the hunt for their new Spider-Man and two names are already being considered for the role.

The first contender is Dylan O’Brien, 23, who is best known for starring in The Maze Runner and MTV’s Teen Wolf television series. The other candidate is Logan Lerman, 23, who has starred in the Percy Jackson film series and most recently in David Ayer’s WWII movie Fury alongside Brad Pitt. At this time, neither actor has been approached. Plus, Marvel isn’t even sure if it wants to go with another Peter Parker version of Spider-Man or go with Miles Morales, the half African-American half-Puerto Rican Webhead.

No matter which version of Spidey Sony and Marvel choose to go with Variety believes they are looking for a much younger actor to portray Spider-Man than Andrew Garfield, 31. This is because Spidey is headed back to Midtown High School. “The plan is to spend more time in the setting and explore his awkward relationship with other students while fighting crime out of the classroom,” according to Variety.

The new Spidey is expected to make a cameo in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War and will star in his own solo franchise in 2017.
