Major Character Is Back In Game Of Thrones Set Photos

Game of Thrones is currently in production and recent set photos reveal that a certain character has returned to the series!

Lena Headey, (Cersei Lannister) Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jamie Lannister)and Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, better known as Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane all all appeared on the Dubrovnik set to film.

That’s right, The Mountain is back in full force in Westeros and he will reportedly be Cersei Lannisters very best friend in the upcoming season.

Dubrovnik is a historic city in Croatia that doubles as King’s Landing and they are set to film there for at least 3 days.

Set photos and a video (shown above) from The Dubrovnik Times show the three stars marching into the Croatian city to filmscenes in King’s Landing.

While the photos don’t reveal any details about what The Mountain’s role will be in season 7, they at least confirm that he is back with Cersei and Jamie.

Also, what are they doing in King’s Landing…didn’t most of that horrible place explode in the season 6 finale?

Hmm, maybe they are just surveying the years of damage the Lannister family has caused the to the Throne and surrounding city.

Either way, don’t forget that Dany is on her way with ships, warriors, and some fierce determination.

Game of Thrones season 7 premieres in the summer of 2017 on HBO.
