The Man Of Steel isn’t set to hit theaters until June 14, 2013, but we already have our first review. Of course, the review comes by way of a cast member of the Man Of Steel, who has only seen part of the unfinished movie, but it’s all we’ve got to go on for right now.In an interview with MTV, Michael Shannon said, “I’ve seen a little bit, because I did some ADR for the film. It’s a very long process. Zack puts a lot of time into post-production on all his films, because he’s such a visual stylist, and there’s a lot of computer generated effects. But the little snippet I saw was pretty mind-blowing, and it wasn’t even finished.”Not only was Michael Shannon blown away by a little unfinished snippet, but he had some positive things to say about fellow actor Henry Cavill as well. Shannon said, “I really admire Henry’s work ethic. I really haven’t seen somebody in this business work quite that hard. Obviously, it’s a tremendous responsibility, and an intimidating one, to wear that suit. But he had the confidence and the work ethic to accomplish it.”Shannon added, “I always felt like I was in a scene with Superman. I never looked at him and thought that’s just somebody trying to be Superman. He felt like the real deal.”Now, given the fact that Michael Shannon is obviously going to be a little bias, the feedback still does sound very promising. Based on the footage shown at Comic-Con and the trailer that was released, it does look very hopeful that we really will get a mind-blowing new Superman movie.
