Michael Bay’s Transformers: The Last Knight, which is the fifth installment in Paramount’s multi-billion dollar franchise, was included in USA Today‘s “Must-See Films of 2017” list. As part of its inclusion, a new high-resolution image from the film was released. It shows Vivian Wembley (Laura Haddock) and Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) snooping around what appears to be the interior of an enormous Decepticon ship. He’s uses a flare and she uses a handheld lamp to illuminate the dark space.

As for the film itself, Wahlberg promised to USA Today: “It’s really smart and different.” He’s excited to be returning to the franchise after debuting in 2014’s Transformers: Age of Extinction, but he’s now realizing that being “smashed through stuff” is harder to recover from now that he’s in his mid-40s. “It’s not as cool as it would be had I been 25,” he said. “At 45, it’s all pretty strenuous, but I really like that Michael gives me freedom to make the character my own, improvising and bring a lot of humor and elevate the emotion.”

The cast of Transformers: The Last Knight features Mark Wahlberg (Planet of the Apes) as Cade Yeager, Isabela Moner (100 Things To Do Before High School) as Izabella, Josh Duhamel (Life as We Know It) as Lieutenant Colonel William Lennox, John Turturro (The Big Lebowski) as Seymour Simmons, and Tyrese Gibson (Furious 7) as Robert Epps, as well as Jerrod Carmichael (Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising), Anthony Hopkins (Thor: The Dark World). The voice cast includes Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime and John Goodman (10 Cloverfield Lane) as Hound.

Michael Bay, who has directed the previous four installments in Transformers live-action film franchise, returns to direct the fifth installment. Transformers: The Last Knight was written by a trio of screenwriters: Art Marcum, Matt Holloway, and Ken Nolan.

The Paramount and Hasbro partnership is responsible for the worldwide blockbuster success of the Transformers franchise, which has earned $3.8 billion to-date, and whose films, directed by Bay, are amongst the highest grossing movies of all time.
