Mission Impossible 5 Wraps Production

That’s a wrap on Mission: Impossible 5! Director Christopher McQuarrie has tweeted out the good news. Filming began on August 21, 2014 and has concluded on March 12, 2015.

Rumors circulated last month that the ending was “unsatisfactory,” but apparently they worked out whatever kinks there were. Keep in mind, the director recently played down those reports.

The cast includes: Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, Jeremy Renner as William Brandt, Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn, and Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell. They’ll be joined by newcomers to the series: Sean Harris, Rebecca Ferguson, Alec Baldwin, Simon McBurney and Zhang Jingchu.

Mission: Impossible 5 will be released on July 31, 2015.
