The playset pack includes a story adventure based on The Force Awakens, which features “new heroes and old friends in search for a much-needed ally,” according to the press release. The Finn and Rey figures first revealed at D23 Expo come packed in with the playset.
Newly announced today are figures for Poe Dameron, the Resistance pilot, and Kylo Ren, the lightsaber wielding villain. A set of power discs that include alternate costumes for Poe and Finn, a new vehicle called the “Quad Jumper,” and a “Resistance Tactical Strike” power will also release at the December 18 launch.
Perhaps most interesting in the press release are the new official descriptions of these four characters:
“Playable characters include Finn, a soldier on a path to adventure and danger, and Rey, a true survivor who is resourceful and capable. Both will join Poe Dameron, the trusted pilot of the Resistance who uses his expert flying skills to travel the galaxy, and Kylo Ren, an enforcer for the First Order who terrorizes the galaxy with devious acts.”
Check out all the figures in detail below. The Star Wars: The Force Awakens play set will run $34.99, Poe and Kylo at $13.99 each, and the power disc pack at $9.99, all launching December 18, 2015.
