Following Sunday’s penultimate episode of The Walking Dead‘s sixth season, AMC has released a batch of new images from the extended 90-minute season finale.

Sunday’s finale, titled, “Last Day on Earth,” promises to be one of the most intense, brutal, and phenomenal episodes of The Walking Dead to date. Sadly, it means we’re likely going to lose one or more key characters adapting to life in Alexandria. The official synopsis reads, “To save one of their own, Rick’s group must venture outside the walls; their experience changes their lives forever.”
Fan theories suggest the Daryl will be the one to meet the wrath of Lucille when Negan finally arrives, having been introduced in the preview for the finale, but comic book fans predict that his arrival will stay true to the comics and see Glenn’s final days on Earth.
In any case, we’ll have to wait until Sunday night to find out the fate of our beloved survivors. In the mean time, check out the new images in the gallery below.
