Legendary is launching their Kong franchise with a marketing campaign worthy of Skull Island’s resident king, and this latest poster shows just how imposing the creature truly is.

The studio recently released a new poster for the Taiwan market (via ScreenRant), showing off Kong’s massive size in comparison to the poor helicopters charged with taking him down. Judging from his unwavering expression, odds are that isn’t going to happen.

The poster is the latest in a long line of stellar promotional artwork from the film, as even the film’s social media banners are more impressive than other film’s entire marketing presence. The blitz seems to be working, as Kong: Skull Island is currently ranking a 3.31 out of 5 on ComicBook.com’s anticipation rankings. A big reason why is that while Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, and Samuel L. Jackson have all made appearances in the marketing here and there, they are always second to the film’s true star, and that’s Kong.

Kong: Skull Island reimagines the origin of the mythic Kong in a compelling, original adventure from director Jordan Vogt-Roberts. In the film, a diverse team of explorers is brought together to venture deep into an uncharted island in the Pacificโ€”as beautiful as it is treacherousโ€”unaware that they’re crossing into the domain of the mythic Kong.

Kong: Skull Island stars Tom Hiddleston (Thor: Ragnarok), Samuel L. Jackson (The Avengers), Oscar-winner Brie Larson (Room), John Goodman (10 Cloverfield Lane) and John C. Reilly (Guardians of the Galaxy). The international ensemble cast also includes Tian Jing, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, John Ortiz, Thomas Mann, Shea Whigham, Toby Kebbell and Eugene Cordero.

Jordan Vogt-Roberts (The Kings of Summer) directs the film from a screenplay by Max Borenstein, John Gatins, Dan Gilroy and Derek Connolly. The film is produced by Legendary’s Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni with Mary Parent. The executive producers are Eric McLeod and Alex Garcia.

Kong: Skull Island hits theaters on March 10, 2017. Godzilla 2 is scheduled for March 22, 2018. MonsterVerse is slated for May 29, 2020.
