Square Enix has officially unveiled their Predator Variant Play Arts Kai figure, reimagining the horrific Predator alien as—an even more horrific Predator alien.

Seriously, just look at that guy. Square Enix’s Variant lens makes this predator look more like a spawn from some unspoken circle of hell than just a hardcore alien. And that’s a great thing. The Predator figure follows the Variant Play Arts Kai’s formula for taking established pop culture icons and filtering them through an exaggerated visual lens. You can see their handiwork in other figures like Batman, Robin, and Boba Fett. As this Predator figure confirms, they’ve done it again.

What may be more horrific, however, is the figure’s hefty price tag of $149.99. We can certainly think of cheaper ways to give ourselves nightmares—like watch the Alien Vs. Predator sequel. But if money’s no object to you, be on the lookout for it this November.
