Fans will soon have the chance to experience the world of Power Rangers for themselves thanks to the impressive VR technology of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835.

That is what will power the new Power Rangers VR experience that will debut at CES. Users will have the chance to interact with the Battle Zords, and will even have them getting in the impressive creatures, while also allowing players to utilize the powers of the Power Rangers themselves (via PR Newswire).
“Lionsgate is at the forefront of innovative and immersive storytelling backed by a rich portfolio of premium content,” said Mike Finley, senior vice president, and president, North America and Australia, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. “We’re happy to be working with Lionsgate to create an exciting virtual reality experience for Power Rangers fans through the technologies we’ve implemented on Snapdragon 835.”
The Snapdragon 835 — which was led by production VR and animation studio Reel FX — will allow the experience to run at a high framerate and fully immerse players into the world.

Fans can get their first look at the impressive tech at the Qualcomm Technologies booth #10948 at CES.

Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover they are the only ones who can save the planet. Power Rangers stars Bryan Cranston (Zordon), Elizabeth Banks (Rita Repulsa), Naomi Scott (Kimberly/Pink Ranger), David Denman (Sam Scott), Becky G. (Trini/Yellow Ranger), Sarah Grey (Amanda), RJ Cyler (Billy Cranston/Blue Ranger), Emily Maddison (Rebecca), Ludi Lin (Zack Taylor/Black Ranger), and Dacre Montgomery (Jason Lee Scott/Red Ranger).
Power Rangers is set to land in theaters on March 24, 2017.
