It’s that time of the week again, folks! You know that time when, since we clearly have nothing else going on, we sit around and pretend to figure out who’s going to die this week on Game of Thrones.

After a quadruple hanging at the end of last weeks episode, we’re sticking to the trend of killing off named characters each and every week. I’m almost certain this week will continue this masochistic ritual, and the preview makes it look like not even major characters are safe from this one. Let’s take a look at some theories and predictions regarding the life and death of this week’s characters.
Last week, we mentioned Rickon would be in some danger, with being captured by the Bolton’s and all. While I think Ramsay understands the leverage that Rickon possesses, I don’t think he cares too much about his loud-mouthed wildling friend. Osha has been a loyal companion to the Stark boys, but that loyalty could be what leads to her death. I could see her getting caught helping Rick escape, or possibly be killed just for getting under Ramsey’s nerves. It sucks to see her go, but Ramsay is just too crazy to prepare for.
I think another group that needs to watch their backs this week are the Sparrows. Cersei and Granny Tyrell are cooking up a plan to free up the Queen and both have big grudges against the High Sparrow and his followers. Let’s be honest, violence against the Sparrows has been a long time coming. There isn’t a royal name in the capitol they haven’t pissed off yet, so they’re already in the crosshairs. I think the High Sparrow himself is safe for now, just because there’s much more to their story, but I could see a Sparrow with a name get in the way of the Lannister axe. Even though he was once a part of the family, I predict Lancel will be taking his last breath Sunday night.
This one is a bit of a stretch, but I think young Robin Arryn needs to watch his back. As we saw in the preview for this episode, Little Finger is back and plotting something big. He’s seen talking with Robin about getting Sansa back safely, and we all know he will stop at nothing to get her. He’s already sacrificed Lady Arryn to get to Sanse, I’ve got a strong feeling he’s just been keeping Robin around to use as some other kind of leverage. I have never liked the kid much, but I’m worried about his safety this week.
My last theory, and this one is the craziest, is that the Red Woman herself, Milisandre meets her death this week. Stay with me on this one. We saw at the end of the first episode that she clearly has a weakness and is vulnerable without her necklace. This means she’s not invincible like she was always thought to be. Let’s not forget Brienne of Tarth arrives at Castle Black in this week’s preview. We know she has pledged her undying allegiance to Sansa and the Stark family, but she is still clearly seeking vengeance for Renly’s death from a couple of seasons ago. I’m sure seeing Sir Davos and Milisandre will set off memories of her king being slain, and Brienne won’t take kindly to that. She knows the Red Woman was not only working alongside Stannis during his reign, but she also knows Milisandre was the driving force behind Renly’s death. Brienne will be out for blood, and there isn’t anyone at Castle Black, save for Davos, that will try and stop her. As far as logic in the plot is concerned, it makes sense to take out Milisandre now. She has completed her arc by resurrecting Jon Snow two weeks ago and doesn’t seem to be living for much anymore. Let’s also remember one of the big casting announcements this off-season was British actress Melanie Liburd being cast as the Red Priestess; the same role as Milisandre. There isn’t really a need for two Red Women in the world of GoT, so this episode could serve as a transition from one to the other. I’m not sure how likely this scenario is, but it looks to me as a huge possibility to watch out for.
