Earlier today, Reading With Pictures announced Comics Out Loud!, an event for teachers, librarians, and other educators on April 24.”Everyone who believes that comics are an amazing educational resource can participate by planning at least one activity involving comic books on Comics Out Loud! day,” said the nonprofit in a statement.They’re encouraging those involved with education and comics in education to sign up at their website to participate, which will get (some of) them a free copy of the Reading With Pictures Anthology, then to share their plans and events on social media to get the word out to other educators.Here’s their pitch:
