Entertainment Weekly has learned that Rose Byrne (“Bridesmaids”) will reprise her role as CIA agent Moira MacTaggert from X-Men: First Class for Bryan Singer’s upcoming film X-Men: Apocalypse.

EW provided with this revealing piece of information from the film’s screenwriter Simon Kinberg. “She’s a significant character in the movie,” Kinberg told Entertainment Weekly. “We ended First Class with Charles having wiped portions of her memory of her experience with the X-Men. They are, essentially, strangers to her when she meets them.”

X-Men: Apocalypse will be set in the early ’80s, which means 20 years has past since we last saw Moira, as X-Men: First Class was set in 1962. How’s that going to work? Kinberg wouldn’t given any details, but you can expect more scenes between Moira and Professor Xavier. “It’s certainly a rich relationship that we started to dig into in First Class, and would like to mine more in this one,” Kinberg adds.

X-Men: Apocalypse will open in theaters May 27, 2016
