Well, guess what! Another one is on the way! And the original Jigsaw is returning!

Saw: Legacy, the eighth film in the franchise, will bring Tobin Bell back, according to a new report from Bloody Disgusting.

Brother-directing duo Michael and Peter Spierg will be helming the new film from Lionsgate, who previously directed Undead, Daybreakers, and the Ethan Hawke time-travel thriller Predestination. So they’re not strangers to the horror genre, but the psychological horror that Saw presents will definitely be a shift.

Despite Jigsaw eventually succumbing to his terminal illness in the third film, subsequent Saw movies have managed to bring him back in some clever ways without revealing he never died to begin with.

So how will they bring him back this time? The plot hints that new murders are popping up and the police investigation points to the original Jigsaw being the killer. And without previous protégés played by Cary Elwes or Costas Mandylor returning to the cast, it seems like Jigsaw might have had another ace up his sleeve before passing away.

Supergirl recurring guest star Laura Vandervoot will also be in the film, alongside Mario Van Peebles’ son Mandela Van Peebles and Matt Passmore.

Saw: Legacy is scheduled to release October 28.
