Earlier today, Paramount Pictures released another Ghost in the Shell sneak peek — featuring a nearly-invisible Major Motoko Kusanagi (Scarlett Johansson) uppercutting a thug and slowly uncloaking — and revealed the highly-anticipated full-length trailer will be released on Sunday, November 13.
Entertainment Tonight visited the film’s Wellington, New Zealand set and came away with some new behind-the-scenes footage and an interview with Johansson, who explained what it means for her 2-year-old daughter, Rose, to see her mother play the one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid.

“More than anything I want my daughter to feel comfortable taking risks and know that you can,” Johansson told ET. “That sometimes you fail and, when you win, it’s awesome.”
And what does her daughter think of her short black hair with funky, purple streaks? “She doesn’t like it,” the 31-year-old actress said. “It would be weird if the person that is your everything suddenly looks just not the person that is your everything anymore.”
Based on the internationally-acclaimed sci-fi property, Ghost in the Shell follows the Major (Scarlett Johansson), a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic’s advancements in cyber technology.
