Jenner was featured on Deep Space Nine in 12 episodes of the show from 1997 to 1999, with his first appearance as Admiral William Ross coming in A Time To Stand. His run on the series culminated with his final episode in 1999, What You Leave Behind. Jenner also reprised his role as Ross in the 2001 video game Star Trek: Deep Space Nine – Dominion Wars.

The actor had a varied career, with roles on Knots Landing, Days Of Our Lives, Fame, Something So Right, JAG, and Silk Stalkings, but outside of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, most fans will know of Jenner from his role on Dallas as Dr. Jerry Kenderson, and Family Matters, where he appeared as Carl Winslow’s Lieutenant Murtaugh.

Jenner didn’t just play a police officer on TV, though, and in fact, he was part of the Los Angeles Police Department reserves for 21 years. The family has requested that donations be sent instead of flowers to this address.
