In the upcoming seventh season Blu-Ray release of Star Trek: The Next Generation, the gag reel features a most profane Patrick Stewart, an amused LeVar Burton and a charging Jonathan Frakes chasing after an ensign.
Featuring a bigger and better USS Enterprise, Next Generation is set 78 years after the original series — in the 24th century.The first season takes place in the year 2364, 100 years after the start of the five-year mission of the Enterprise described in the original series, which began in 2264. It features a new crew and a new starship Enterprise.
