Harrison Ford Storms Off Jimmy Kimmel

While Harrison Ford has been making the talk show rounds to promote his current movie 42, he has faced a number of questions about Star Wars, which he has lately been refusing to answer. Tonight on Jimmy Kimmel Live was no different.Jimmy Kimmel said, “Now, I don’t mean to move on to other parts of your career, but there’s a Star Wars movie coming out. J.J. Abrams is directing it, and I would love to know what your plans are for this.”An agitated Harrison Ford replied, “You know, I really…I can’t…there’s nothing, I can’t talk about this.” Then, Jimmy Kimmel asked if Harrison Ford would be alright taking some questions from audience members. Harrison Ford agreed but said the one rule was “no star wars questions.”The first audience member to stand up was dressed like a Jedi. After Jimmy Kimmel reminded him that there could be no Star Wars questions, the Jedi-clad audience member asked Harrison Ford if he liked being in movies. Harrison Ford answered, “Yeah.”The second audience member to stand up was a man dressed up like Princess Leia, who asked Harrison Ford if he was hungry. Looking down, Harrison Ford answered, “Not really.”The third audience member to stand up was Chewbacca. An angry Harrison Ford yelled, “You, son of a bitch. What do you want?”ย  Chewbacca made a Wookie noise, and Harrison Ford said, “Yeah, you’d like that wouldn’t you? Always trying to blame me. You’re the one that couldn’t keep it in your furry pants.” When Jimmy Kimmel pointed out that Chewbacca wasn’t wearing pants, Harrison Ford replied, “I rest my case.”As Chewbacca made more Wookie noises, Harrison Ford shouted, “You’re so full of s***. How did he get in here? Did you set this up? You set this up?” Jimmy Kimmel insisted he knew they had issues and he just thought it would be nice to get them together. When Kimmel asked what happened between them, Harrison Ford said, “He knows what he did. She was my wife. You Wookie sack of s***.”Harrison Ford pointed at Jimmy Kimmel and yelled, “You listen to me. You’re either on my side or you’re on his side. I’m out of here. No, I’m leaving.” As Harrison Ford stormed off the set, his final words to Chewbacca were “You, I’ll see you in hell.”Update: Here’s the video for the segment we describe above, plus another segment from a couple years ago on Jimmy Kimmel Live, which gives some background on Harrison Ford’s feud with Chewbacca.
