The panel featuring writer/director J.J. Abrams, president Kathleen Kennedy and various cast and crew may have been the first thing about Star Wars: The Force Awakens at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, but it was far from the only thing there about the film.

A walkthrough museum-style exhibit gave us behind-the-scenes and in-depth looks at props, models, and costumes from the film, revealing some new information along the way.
In the first of two galleries, we focus on the mysterious “tri-saber” wielding villain Kylo Ren and the newest versions of Stormtroopers. Kylo Ren’s mask, shrouded costume, and belt (including a clip for a saber) can be seen in detail, along with close up shots of what’s simply called “Kylo Ren’s Hilt.”
But before you get to those images, you’ll see shots of what are labeled in the exhibit as “First Order Flametrooper,” “First Order Snowtrooper,” and “First Order Stormtroopers.” These new versions of the classic white-armored villainous legion gives us not just a more in-depth view of how they’ll appear on screen, but also this mysterious terminology of “First Order.”
Check out the gallery here, and look for another gallery plus analysis of what you’re seeing shortly.
