Spaced, Guardians of the Galaxy and Star Wars: The Phantom Menace character actor Peter Serafinowicz has been cast to replace Patrick Warburton as the star of Amazon’s revival of the live-action superhero comedy The Tick, Deadline reports.

Ben Edlund, a writer on Gotham who created the character in 1986, will write the series and executive produce. Edlund was a key player in both the 1996 animated series and its 2001 live-action Fox successor. A number of executives will remain in place from the original, but the cast will reportedly be all-new. Original series star Warburton will also executive produce, and Transcendence director Wally Pfister will helm the pilot.
