CBS has announced the season finale date for Supergirl, their DC Comics adaptation starring Melissa Benoist.

The series, which the network has committed to renewing for a second season, will conclude its first season on April 18 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
Supergirl will have a total of 20 episodes in its first season, the eighteenth of which will guest star Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash, a role he plays on his own CW series.
This week’s episode, “Falling,” shattered the series’ status quo and has been arguably the best-reviewed episode of the season. It returns with a new episode, titled “Manhunter,” on Monday, which will guest-star Dean Cain (Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman) as Supergirl’s adoptive father Jeremiah Danvers.
