Dayo Okeiniyi, who played Thresh in “The Hunger Games,” will play the son of Miles Dyson in “Terminator: Genesis,” according to Variety.Miles Dyson was played by Joe Morton in “Terminator 2: Judgment Day.” Dyson is a key scientist in the creation of Cyberdyne Systems. Dyson died in the film, but his son survived.Okeiniyi joins a cast that already includes Emilia Clarke, Jai Coutney and Jason Clarke. The film will be directed by Alan Taylor, who directed “Thor: The Dark World.”Plot details on the film are still scarce, though it is said to be the first film a new, standalone trilogy and there are rumors that it will involve time-travelling through the events of previous Terminator films.”Terminator: Genesis” is scheduled for release on July 1, 2015.
