The Avengers Recreated In 8-Bit

YouTube channel CineFix has mashed up two things almost every geek loves: The Avengers and Retro video games.

The video below recreates, in about three minutes, every major action scene from The Avengers using 8-bit pixel art, with plenty of clear homages to the classic Mega Man games along the way.

It’s fun to watch, and now I really want to know why the game doesn’t actually exist (and kind of reminds me of Thor: Bring the Thunder, a surprisingly solid 8-bit platformer).

The Avengers will return in Avengers: Age of Ultron, opening May 1, 2015.
