The Walking Dead: Pizza Hut Ships Daryl and Carol

Pizza Hut doesn’t seem to have survived the zombie apocalypse on The Walking Dead — or at least they aren’t delivering anymore — but that doesn’t mean they don’t have opinions, apparently.

When one fan asked whether they thought Daryl and Maggie would be a good couple if Glenn weren’t around — apparently they’re either thinking he died last week, have heard rumors about his death later in the season or just thought Pizza Hut would be a good sounding board for a question about a former pizza delivery boy — the restaurant chain had the kind of response least likely to get them inundated with hate tweets and boycott threats:

They’re shipping Daryl and Carol.

They do acknowledge that the Beth and Daryl pairing favored by some fans until Beth’s demise last season “isn’t bad, just…Caryl is better.”

We’re thinking somebody needs to alert Norman Reedus, so he can try to get himself some free pizza out of this whole deal.
