The Walking Dead The Grove

Last night’s episode of AMC’s The Walking Dead brought us quite a bit of closure on some dangling plot threads…and when that happens, you’re likely to get some callbacks, references and Easter eggs.In this case, most of them went back to “30 Days Without an Accident,” the Season Four premiere, but there were some other things to look out for, as well.Such as…Of Mice and MenWe won’t spend too much time on this, since we already went over it…but the “look at the flowers” scene at the end of the episode was a beat-for-beat reproduction of John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men.You can see the scene in question, from the award-winning Gary Sinise/John Malkovich version, below.
