Mash-ups of our favorite franchises are so prevalent these days, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t cool. Artist Phill Berry decided to take on some of Disney’s most iconic princesses, including Jasmine, Rapunzel, Ariel, and Belle, and melded them into Star Wars lore, and the results are quite eye catching.

I love the creative use of Rapunzel’s hair as saber whips so to speak, and having Ariel’s legs be robotic (which I didn’t catch at first glance) was inspiring as well. Including the sidekicks as droids or creatures more at home in the star wars universe helps ground things a bit, and someone needs to make that flounder drone into a statue or something asap.
The Belle and Beast combo is my favorite, but I’m already partial to that film. He could also be right at home in the Shadowrun universe, so maybe someone needs to take these characters and run with that idea as well. I know, I’m a giver.
