Thanks to Stephen Byrne, fans are now desperate for an animated Harry Potter series, and it is not hard to see why.

Over on Instagram, Bryne shared an image he whipped up of Harry Potter. The cartoonish picture shows the franchise’s large ensemble cast and highlights its heroes. Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger can be seen front-and-center while supporting characters can be seen scattered around.

After all, it is almost impossible to overlook Tonks thanks to her bright purple hair or even Hedwig because of his pristine feathers. Even Dobby and Nearly Headless Nick make a surprise appearance in the ensemble image.

Fans have gone wild over the animated art and have flooded Bryne with requests for an animated series. The artist, who has worked on comics like Green Arrow and Civil War II, commented to say he’d personally love to see an animated Harry Potter series.

So, who knows? Maybe fans will get to see some animator Harry Potter short premiere ahead of upcoming Fantastic Beasts films. Would you like to see any of Rowling’s stories brought to life that way?

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incidentโ€ฆwere it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.
