The first photos from Tim Burton’s upcoming film, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, have been released.

The film stars Asa Butterfield as Jake, a 16-year-old plagued by nightmares after a tragedy strikes his family. Following the advice of his therapists, the young man embarks on an overseas journey in an effort to find the abandoned orphanage where his late grandfather says he once lived. Upon arriving, he discovers the place is not only really, but also a gateway to alternate realm where children with strange powers are looked after by a magical guardian, played by Eva Green.
