According to Heroic Hollywood, that even film is actually the upcoming Tomb Raider reboot. The report also mentioned that Warner Bros. recently registered the domain name www.thetombraidermovie.com, suggesting the reboot’s title will be The Tomb Raider.
The Tomb Raider movies are based on the action adventure video game series of the same name, created by Eidos Interactive and now owned by Square Enix. The original films starred Angelina Jolie as archaeologist Lara Croft.
The Tomb Raider movie reboot is said to take inspiration from the recent reboot of the game franchise, which now focuses on a younger Lara Croft during some of her earliest adventures. Star Wars: The Force Awakens star Daisy Ridley is rumored to be the lead contender for the role.
