The Twilight Zone reboot coming up from CBS now has a writer and director for the pilot, plus a new production partner. Ken Levine, creator of the BioShock video game series, has signed on to write and direct the pilot, his first such work (though he was also writing the Logan’s Run film screenplay in 2013).

The stranger part of today’s news, though, is the production partner, Interlude. The company makes “choose-your-own-adventure” style short films, and will work with CBS on Twilight Zone, allowing the viewer to “change and adapt the story based on what he or she feels,” they told The Wrap. “As with all other Interlude videos, viewers can return repeatedly and have a different viewing experience each time.”

CBS hasn’t announced when or how they plan to distribute Twilight Zone, but with an interactive element, it sounds like it may join fellow new series Star Trek on “CBS All Access,” the company’s own digital platform.
