Let’s be honest: Despite the incredibly poor taste behind those Lego Oscar statues passed out during last night’s 2015 Academy Awards, we all really wanted one.
But now, like Lego Movie co-directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller, we don’t have to rely on the Academy for a gold or brick version of the iconic award. Thanks to a quick time-lapsed video from Lego expert Nathan Sawaya, the keys to building a Lego Oscar statue are now available to the masses—you just have to be quick enough to break his video down frame-by-frame.
