It may have been overlooked at the time, but after Bernard was revealed as a host, we’ve learned we should be pay attention to every single little detail.

We all noticed instantly when Dolores got rid of her “little house on the prarie” light blue dress and traded it in for a more “cowboy” look with pants, a button down shirt, and even a white hat.

But what most people didn’t notice is that William also changed his clothing when Dolores did. He tossed his plain white and light red checkered tablecloth shirt for a more sinister dark gray pin tucked shirt with ruffle detail on the yoke.

The Man In Black and William are currently wearing the same exact shirt as seen below:

The two timeline theory or idea of multiple timelines taking place during Westworld has been proven considering the older logo is shown in William’s timeline and the new logo is only shown in the Man In Black’s timeline.

It might be odd to keep the same shirt for 30 some years – but the Man in Black always seems to get exactly what he wants.

So now William and the Man In Black both have the same exact knife and are wearing the same shirt. Out of all the options when guests first arrive at Westworld, there is a very small chance that two different men would choose the same exact weapon and clothing.

Have you spotted any other clues proving that William is The Man In Black?

We have…

Now if William puts on a black hat, we definitely know what the truth is!

As we near the end of Westworld’s mysterious and engrossing first season, all of the loose ends are starting to make sense in very surprising ways.

One big question we still have – if William turns into the Man In Black 30 years after arriving at the park, what happened that made him so jaded?

We can take a STAB and assume that William truly fell in love with Dolores, who may have been reprogrammed to completely forget him, leaving William heartbroken and alone in world he thought was paradise. Enter, a very jaded and vengeful Man In Black.

The one-hour drama series Westworld is a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the evolution of sin. Set at the intersection of the near future and the reimagined past, it explores a world in which every human appetite, no matter how noble or depraved, can be indulged.

The cast of the 10-episode series includes Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Jimmi Simpson, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Ingrid Bolsรธ Berdal, Ben Barnes, Simon Quarterman, Angela Sarafyan, Luke Hemsworth and Clifton Collins, Jr.
