At about $2 million, the cost of producing a single episode of NBC’s cult-favorite spy comedy Chuck is estimated to be about what Rob Thomas and Kristen Bell had to generate in order to make a Veronica Mars movie a reality.Following remarks made this week on Twitter, Levi was approached by Entertainment Weekly to see what he meant when he said “to you Chucksters, [I] believe that this news only bolsters my faith that I can help bring you a Chuck movie. Be patient. Stay tuned.”What’d he have to say, particularly? Here’s what they got out of the Thor: The Dark World star.

“All I can say at this point is that because Veronica Mars, like Chuck, is a Warner Bros. [production], and because Warner Bros. has now opened that gate, I feel confident in being able to get the same results for a Chuck movie,” he says, adding that he could imagine them using avenues other than Kickstarterfor fund-raising. “If Warner Bros. is game, I’ve got great ideas for what the movie would be that I’m very excited about.”
