All The Marvel Legacy Series Revealed So Far

Marvel Comics is on the cusp of a new era. As Secret Empire continues to speed towardes its conclusion and the Marvel Generations one-shots are nearly set for release, the era of Marvel Legacy will soon dawn.

With their October solicitations, Marvel Comics has revealed the first wave of Marvel Legacy comics that will be arriving in stores. These October issues bring the return of legacy numbering for many of Marvel’s longest running titles, including Amazing Spider-Man, Avengers, Black Panther, Cable, Captain Marvel, The Despicable Deadpool, Incredible Hulk, Invincible Iron Man, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and The Mighty Thor.

There are also major shifts in the status quo for several titles. Peter Parker goes back to basics and returns to the Daily Bugle in Amazing Spider-Man. Sam Wilson returns to his original superhero persona in Falcon. The original Champions reunite in Iceman, as do Beast and Wonder Man in Uncanny Avengers.

There are also crossover and returns aplenty. Laura must search for Daken in All-New Wolverine. The Avengers and the Champions go head to head in the “Worlds Collide’ crossover. Black Panther goes up against his old foe, Klaw. Cable begins to gather a new team of “Newer Mutants.” Incredible Hulk returns to Planet Hulk Invincible Iron Man begins the search for Tony Stark. The Purple Man returns in Jessica Jones. The first X-over of the ResurrXion era, “Mojo Worldwide,” begins in X-Men Blue and X-Men.

Check out every Marvel Legacy comic book revealed so far in the following solicitations. More announcements are still to come as Marvel Legacy continues to roll out in the coming months.

“The Marvel Legacy initiative is a celebration of everything that makes Marvel the best in fiction and it’s a signifier of a new era for Marvel Comics,” says Marvel chief creative officer Joe Quesada said in a previously released statement. “It’s a loving look at the heart of Marvel as we embrace our roots and move enthusiastically forward with all the Marvel characters you know and love starring in the biggest, boldest, best Marvel stories. All of which kicks off with the giant Marvel Legacy special.”

The Marvel Legacy era begins in earnest with Marvel Legacy #1, releasing this fall.
