If you told me Executive Producer extraordinaire Greg Berlanti was secretly a meta-human, I would totally believe you. I still don’t know how a new father of a 7-month-old finds the time to shepherd a whole slew of comic book-based television shows: Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, Riverdale and the recently announced Black Lightning, as well as the non-comic book series Blindspot. Truly remarkable!

“One thing I always feel weird about โ because people always ask me, ‘How do you do it all?’ โ the truth is, we’re a big company and there are a lot of people who do a lot,” Berlanti told Indie Wire. “There’s a lot of people and showrunners and executives at this company. Indeed, we’ve got our fingers in a lot of different pies, but it’s not because it’s just me there all day long. There are so many people I work with who work their butts off.”
And you can bet plenty of those butts were worked off preparing for the 3-hour crossover event that will bring together Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl. “We just finished writing the fall crossovers,” he shared. “And now we’re trying to figure out how to produce them. That’s probably the most challenging thing we do all year. And now we’re doing it across three shows!”
The third season of The Flash will debut on Tuesday, October 4th at 8 p.m. (EST). Arrow Season 5 premieres Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW. Supergirl season two kicks off Monday, October 10 at 8pm on The CW.
