As the Justice League attempts to battle the otherworldly threat of Steppenwolf and Apokolips, the battle threatens to consume them; however, as the League battle, Batman’s longtime ally Alfred is greeted by a powerful visitor – and there’s some big speculation as to who it is.

However, looking into Alfred’s glasses there’s a noticeable reflection… a green one?

Is this our first look at the DC Extended Universe Green Lantern?

The trailer teases the existence of the Green Latern Corps early on, when Steppenwolf describes Earth as vulnerable since it has “No Lanterns” and “No Kryptonian.” However, the end of the trailer, where Alfred is talking to a mysterious stranger, a closer look at his glasses may provide the biggest evidence yet of Green Lantern (and the Corps?) coming to help save the day! (Or it’s just, you know: Superman…)

At the time of writing this the DC Films panel at Comic-Con is still going on – so stay tuned for more Green Lantern Corps news to come!

In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroesโ€”Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flashโ€”it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, from a screenplay by Chris Terrio, and features an ensemble cast that includes Ben Affleck (Batman), Henry Cavill (Superman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Ezra Miller (The Flash), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Ray Fisher (Cyborg), Ciarรกn Hinds (Steppenwolf), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Jeremy Irons (Alfred Pennyworth), J.K. Simmons (Commissioner Gordon), Amber Heard (Mera), Kiersey Clemons (Iris West) and Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor).

Wonder Woman is in theaters now, and will be followed by Justice League on November 17, 2017; Aquaman on July 27, 2018; Shazam on April 5, 2019; Justice League 2 on June 14, 2019; Cyborg on April 3, 2020; and Green Lantern Corps on July 24, 2020. The Flash, The Batman, Dark Universe and Man of Steel 2 are currently without a release dates.
