Katie Cassidy turned the corner last season into full villain territory, and as a result has a pretty spectacular throwdown she would like to see in Arrow season 6.

Cassidy’s previous run as the Black Canary came to a shocking end, but the actress came back last season as Black Siren, Laurel Lance’s Earth 2 counterpart. During her time at San Diego Comic-Con, Cassidy was asked by CBR about facing down her sister Sara Lance, who currently stars on Legends of Tomorrow as the White Canary.

“Absolutely. I love working with Caity Lotz” said Cassidy. “I said to Marc [Guggenheim], ‘is this possible even for Earth-2 Laurel to come face to face with [Earth-1] Laurel? What’s that like?’ That’s something really interesting and cool. I hope they do it. There’s an opportunity in the crossovers for that to happen.”

The universes will again crossover this year, following up the epic Invasion crossover seen last season, so anything is possible. It’s assuredly a throwdown that fans would love to see.

Cassidy alluded to changes in Siren’s character in season 6 as well, even hinting that she could become a hero again.

“Yes, I do think there’s a chance at redemption for her. I think there will be people who understand when she has the opportunity and once we learn what she’s gone through, why she is the way that she is. I think people will be able to relate to it, have sympathy for her. I think there’s a chance at really helping her get back to who she is at her core, and potentially not be so crazy, and have a good side to her, but I think as time goes on we’ll learn that.”
