Arrow might have dropped a massive cliffhanger in its fifth season finale, but it looks like series star Stephen Amell is willing to have a little bit of fun with it.

During last weekend’s Heroes & Villains Fan Fest in New Jersey, Amell was seen wearing a pin that says “RIP everyone except William and Oliver.” As Arrow fans will know, the pin is a reference to the closing moments of “Lian Yu”, which showed almost all of the show’s cast stranded on the titular island during an explosion.
Of course, there’s next to no chance of Amell’s pin actually being a real spoiler. The season’s promotional material has revealed that quite a few characters survive, such as Laurel Lance/Black Siren (Katie Cassidy), Slade Wilson/Deathstroke (Manu Bennett), and Dinah Drake/Black Canary (Juliana Harkavy).
All joking aside, it sounds like Arrow will handle the aftermath of Lian Yu in a very particular way. The Season Six premiere will slowly reveal the fate of each character, and will show those who are alive mourning the dead. And if that isn’t enough, a novel bridging the gap between the two seasons will be released in early 2018.
Arrow fans won’t have to wait too long to get some answers when the show returns on Thursday, October 12th on The CW.
