NFL players may be better known for crushing it out on the field, but it turns out they also know how to crush it when it comes to epic Halloween costumes.

Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Geno Atkins traded his uniform for Batman’s armor this weekend and shared a photo of himself on Twitter decked out in full Batman v Superman style. Atkins captioned the photo “Tell me, do you bleed?” Check it out below.

Atkins’ highly detailed costume — complete with glowing eyes as seen on Ben Affleck’s Batman in the film — is impressive, but equally as impressive is the football star’s handling of fan reaction to his costume. When a fan commented on the photo that the glowing eyes were “weird,” Atkins simply responded with a gif of Affleck as Batman in Batman v Superman, glowing eyes and all.
Atkins’ awesome take on Batman, which he put together for the Bengals’ Halloween party Friday night, joined some of his other teammates with creative and elaborate costumes. Bengals safety George Iloka also took costume inspiration from the movies, though instead of getting Justice League ready, Iloka opted for his own, frightening take on Pennywise from It.

Outside of sports, Atkins isn’t the only famous face trying masquerading as a superhero this Halloween, either. Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Stephanie Beatriz brought a little Marvel flair to her Halloween costume this weekend. The actress went out for her Halloween festivities decked out as Marvel Comics fan-favorite America Chavez.
