BvS And Pennywise Collide In Batman Vs 'IT' Trailer

Batman's no stranger to facing demented clowns, but he just might've met his match in Pennywise.

That's the premise of a new fan trailer from Adeel of Steel that pits Batman against the rejuvenated Pennywise, portrayed by Bill Skarsgard in the recent IT reboot. Sure the Joker is crazed and, well, just an awful and violent person, but even he hasn't made a career of tormenting children like Pennywise has.

So which Batman has the spine to go after him? That would be Ben Affleck's Batman from Justice League, though the footage splices together footage from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Thanks to the darker color palette and grittier take on Batman, the footage from BvS flows seamlessly with IT, and creates a tension-filled murder mystery that has Batman trying to get to the bottom of these kidnappings.

Adeel of Steel utilizes the Nightmare scenes in BvS perfectly, all leading to a trailer that you will wish was a real movie.

Batman's next film throwdown will be in Justice League against an army of Parademons under the command of Darkseid general Steppenwolf. The powerful foe sees Earth as a planet ripe for the picking, lacking any sort of protection from his control. No Lanterns and no Kryptonian are called out specifically in his narration, but he didn't plan on a new age of heroes showing up to take their place.

As for IT, the film has been a massive success for the studio. On a budget of $35 million, the film has already brought in over $236 million domestically, with a worldwide haul of over $408 million. That will only increase this weekend, so plan on Pennywise returning to theaters much sooner than 27 years.

IT is in theaters now, while Justice League lands on November 17th.
