Now thanks to DC’s Rebirth initiative, Grayson is coming home and once again patrolling the rooftops of Gotham as Nightwing, and in his classic blue and black costume to boot. The creative team of Tim Seeley, Yanick Paquette, Nathan Fairbairn will at the helm, and will attempt to guide the hero back to his roots while introducing a new villain for him to contend with. Nightwing Rebirth #1 will lead directly into Nightwing #1 by Seeley, Javier Fernandez, and Chris Sotomayor.
DC Rebirth is attempting to bring back the iconic heroes fans loved from the pre-New 52 era, but more importantly, they are restoring their legacies, something DC had moved away from in recent years. Dick Grayson is one of those pieces, and while he was still around during the shift, this is where he rightfully belongs.
