Harley Quinn‘s Little Black Book series has teamed her up with several notable names in the DC universe, but her latest team up is one of her most outlandish and features a cosmic roller coaster alongside the main man Lobo. While the two experienced much during their adventure, they also formed quite the bond while stranded on an alien planet, and decided to act on those impulses.

In Little Black Book #6, Harley and Lobo seem to gel right away, though surviving an extreme explosion will do that to people sometimes. The two share a kiss and more in the issue, and while it is suggested that they had sex, it isn’t shown. Writers Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner recently put the theory to bed, though (pun intended) in an interview with Comicosity, with Connor saying “Yeah! Harley actually gets to do it. Wait. Does she?” “Oh yeah! Yeah. Of course,” Palmiotti confirmed. “You know those little white strips between the panels? A lot of stuff happens in those little white strips we can’t talk about.”
“It makes sense that their adventure would become intimate at some point,” Palmiotti added. “I gotta say, we were writing it and it’s probably the easiest Harley book we’ve written. We were just laughing out loud and saying, ‘Oh no. We HAVE to go there.’ We just kept saying that and waiting for DC [Comics] to say, ‘You can’t do that.’”
Harley’s Little Black Book #6 is written by Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner, with art by Simon Bisley and a cover by Conner. You can view the official description below, and get a look at the scenes in question in the gallery.
