Collectors are bound to have any combination of shelves, glass cases, and tabletops to hold their growing Funko POP collections, but there is an opportunity for Funko to expand that even further if they so choose.

Displaying your collection of Batman POPs (of which there is no shortage mind you) in a glass collectors case is fantastic sure, but what if you could display those POPs in a home tailor-made for them? Wouldn’t your Dark Knight Returns Batman look even cooler standing on a ledge at Arkham Asylum?

Funko has already expanded the line to include various vehicles, so creating something to put those in front of is just the next logical step. Having a location suddenly turns your POP collection into an intricate diorama, and allows collectors to personalize their setups as they see fit. Plus, it further expands the line for Funko, and playsets would be a bigger ticket item, hopefully making it worth the extra expense.

With that in mind, here are the 5 Funko POP playsets that fans need to have.

Batcave

It was a close runย with Arkham Asylum, but it ultimately had to be Batman’s headquarters.

There are just too many Batman family POPs out there like Nightwing, Robin, Catwoman, and the like to not have a home for them. The upper part would have a big central computer console for Batman to stand out, with craggy rocks and small POP-ified bats hangingย above.

On the ย lower floor would be a place to park one of the various Batmobile’sย Funko has done, and several little workstations for other POPs to stand at. Also included would be two jail cells to place some of the Bat-villains.

It would be amazing to have the giant penny make an appearance, with a POP face on the side of it, because why not right?

Avengers Tower

Funko has created their fair share of Marvel POPs, and while there are renditions taken from the comics, the majority of them are based on the Marvel Studios films.

Since that is the case, the Marvel headquarters should be themed after the Avengers tower seen in Captain America: Civil War. One side of the playset would have the distinctive glass tower design, with the illuminated “A” on the side (lights not included of course, but customizers would have a field day with it).

The other side would feature the swank digs of the Avenges, with an armor station for Iron Man and securable pegs on the side of the wall so that you can attach Spider-Man to it. Since there are a few Winter Soldiersย out there, the headquarters could even have a containment unit to put him in as seen in the Civil War.

Hogwarts

The Harry Potter series has been quite successful for Funko, so it stands to reason that fans of the franchise would love to have their very own Hogwarts playset to display them in.

The playset would be split into two parts, with each one coming with two themed common rooms after the various houses. One set would have Hufflepuff and Slytherin themed rooms, while the other would have Gryffindor and Ravenclaw . The second set would also include a section themed after the Hogwarts library, while the other would have a section themed after the potions classroom.

There would also be a perch for a miniature Hedwig include (in POP style of course), and the rest of the walls would be themed with the same art seen in the various movies.

WWE Wrestling Ring

Funko has invested substantially into their WWE line of figures, which features a number of current stars and legends. Some are fortunate to have a wife who made them a custom WWE ring for their POPs (yeah, it’s pretty sweet), but for those who don’t have that option, ti would be great to have an alternative.

The ring would need to be big enough to at least have a few POPs in there at a time, and a small recreation of the ramp would be stellar if they could manage it. Two sides would include the Monday Night RAW logo and two sides would include the Smackdown Live logo, allowing fans to use whichever one they need if they plan on taking photos.

Xavier School Of Gifted Youngsters

It was hard to narrow this list down to just five, so expect a volume two at some point down the road. With the X-Men embargo by Marvel seemingly lifted, Funko has started to put out more X-Men POPs, so why not give them their very own stomping grounds?

The Xavier School For Gifted Youngsters has taken on many forms, so the designers have a pretty wide canvas to choose from. The classic school is still looked at by many as the most iconic, though, so maybe start with that as a foundation.

One section would be themed after the Danger Room, and since there is a Charles Xavier POP already, a Cerebro station (with POP sized Cerebro helmet included) would also be featured.

The cherry on the top though would have to be the 8-inch Sentinelย that could be purchased separately, staring down at the school and ready for a fight.

One can dream, right?

So theseย are the top 5 choices here at ComicBook.com, but make sure to give your picks in the comments!
