Season 4 of Gotham will have huge changes for much of the cast, including Bruce and Selina.
Bruce Wayne actor David Mazouz appeared at Heroes and Villains Fan Fest this weekend, where he was asked about the admittedly fragile relationship between Selina and Bruce, and how it will take a big turn in season 4.

“That’s a tricky relationship. Bruce and Selina are in many ways toxic for each other. But in many ways, they have this incredible chemistry with each other that’s undeniable. Bruce was fed up with how many times she didn’t care about him. He knew she wasn’t there for him when he needed her, and he ended up pushing her away. Going into season 4 that’s going to continue. Their relationship as we know it is going to crumble.”
That will push Selina forward into the early stages of her Catwoman identity, with Mazouz saying “She’s making massive strides toward becoming this proto-Catwoman, and Bruce is obviously making huge strides toward his proto-batman character.”
Bruce made massive strides of his own in the season finale, as he finally embraced the vigilante idea central to his future as Batman.
