The trailer left plenty of Gotham fans speechless, and that includes Bruce Wayne himself, David Mazouz. Fox has released a video follow-up to the Jerome trailer hat shows the Gotham star reacting to seeing the trailer for the first time.

Granted, Mazouz is actually in the trailer, so he has a bit more information going into the trailer than the average fan does, but he still seems pretty stunned by what he sees.

“The sucked me in a little bit,” Mazouz says after the trailer has run. “I’m kind of speechless right now. I mean, obviously, as you guys know, Jerome is insane. He’s psychotic. He will od anything to bring the city to its knees and to bring anarchy and utter chaos to Gotham, but how far will he go?

“The winter finale is definitely something you’re going to want to see,” he continues. “Bruce and Jerome interact in ways that I never saw coming when I read the script.”
