DrMachakil is quickly becoming the king of mashups. Previously, the popular Youtuber cut together footage so that it appeared as though former wall-crawlers Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield sobbed at the sight of the first Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer; the Avenger felt threatened while viewing the latest Justice League trailer; Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne met Agent Smith within the Matrix; and J.K. Simmons’ J. Jonah Jameson bosses around Amy Adams’ Lois Lane and Henry Cavill’s Clark Kent.
His latest video is mashup of The Dark Knight (2008) and Die Hard with a Vengeance (1995), making it appear as though Batman’s most infamous nemesis, The Joker (Heath Ledger), is having a phone conversation with suspended police officer Lt. John McClane (Bruce Willis), as well as McClane’s reluctant partner Zeus Carver (Samuel L. Jackson) and anxious NYPD Inspector Walter Cobb (Larry Bryggman).
