The review embargo for Justice League is being lifted on Tuesday night, but fans will have to wait two extra days to see that infamous Rotten Tomatoes score.

Rotten Tomatoes took to Twitter on Tuesday morning to announce that they would be revealing the official score of the film on Thursday, just after midnight. Instead of letting the score slowly adjust as the reviews pour in, the live video will take more than 24 hours to compile the reviews and release a more solid score.
When reading into this, it could be seen as either a good or bad thing.

On one hand, you could look at this situation as a positive sign for Justice League and its eventual RT score. The site wouldn’t host and publicize this big of an event regarding the score of the film if they were expecting it to be negative, or “Rotten.”
On the other hand, the score isn’t being released until the day the movie actually hits theaters. If you know a movie great, you typically want to create buzz and let positive reviews go public very early.
Whatever the reason for this release, it doesn’t change the fact that the score won’t be released until the earliest hours of the morning this Thursday.
